Winter Wedding at Babington House

Winter Wedding at Babington House

So here’s a beautiful winter wedding at the amazing Babington House! Melissa and Todd were great to be around. I met them for an engagement shoot beforehand so I knew it would be a fun day. They even got engaged at Babington House so it was a pretty special place for them. It’s a very exclusive local wedding venue. So exclusive that you can only get married on a Thursday. In 9 years of being a wedding photographer I’ve only been once!

The winter wedding at Babington House was close to Christmas time so the decorations were up and made a lovely backdrop.

Despite it being a winter wedding in the UK we had some great weather. A little cold but sunny and no wind which meant we could take a few family photos outside and catch the last of the rays before the sun disappeared. They had lots of family and friends from all over the UK and it was a lovely celebration.

The ceremony was lovely and I got a dream spot at the front of the chapel. I was really happy to be there as it meant I could get lots of photos of people’s reactions through the ceremony. The little chapel has so much charm – it’s a really special place and has a very intimate feel.

The festoon lighting looked incredible against the chapel and I couldn’t help but use it as the backdrop to a few couple photos!

If you’re looking for a Babington House wedding photographer do check out this other spring wedding.

A huge thank you to Melissa and Todd for having me along. It was an honour to document your day and create these memories for you. Thank you for being so easy to work with and making me feel so welcome.

  1. These are stunning Albert. You used those lights in front of the church beautifully and the portrait of the kid in the church is my favourite! 🙂
