Laura and Warren’s Arnos Vale wedding was a blast. Skateboards, hog roasts, and an outside ceremony in a forest! All just 5 minutes from my house. Warren wins my award for most fashionable groom. Being a New Zealander he probably has an unfair advantage but chinos, a waistcoat and trainers ticked all the boxes. I guess the Moss Bros look was never going to be on the cards when the wedding theme is ‘skateboards.’

Laura looked stunning in her elegant dress and flower crown. Walking through the trees of Arnos Vale with her colourful bridesmaids was the perfect entrance to the ceremony.

If you’re looking for a unique wedding venue in Bristol then do check out Arnos Vale. It’s more shabby than chic but what it lacks in banquet halls it makes up for in outdoor beauty, nature and fun. I also loved the outdoor rustic barn. Full of charm and character. It reminded me of the cool hipster wedding venues you see in America where couples are free to choose where they get married. Anyway, as you can probably tell I had a ball. Fortunately the weather gods were kind to us and we had ample time to wander around Arnos Vale for couple photos.

Shout out’s to Ivory Flowers for their gorgeous blooms (flowers MAKE a wedding!) and Krystal Brides in Bath. Quite a few of my brides get their gowns from Krystal Brides – all I know is that they  have the coolest bridal website I’ve been on. Full of gorgeous pictures and inspiration.
