Alex & Joshua | Clevedon Hall Wedding
Clevedon Hall wedding photographer
It was great to return as a Clevedon Hall wedding photographer for Alex and Joshua’s big day. They got married in the spring and the weather gods came out in full support.
They got married in the local Catholic Church and the vicar could not have been any nicer. Then everyone returned to Clevedon Hall to resume the celebrations and take some photographs. It was great to work with Pat McIntyre once again! It’s been some time since I’ve seen him, but he kept the energy levels high all afternoon.
After enjoying canapés and drinks in the sun, we all headed inside for the wedding breakfast in the orangery. The space was really nice, with plenty of beautiful light coming in, perfect for photographing the speeches.
The icing on the cake was the sunset for couple photos and beautiful evening light.
It was great to work alongside videographer Marcus. Such a nice guy and easy to work alongside. He even gave me a lift to the church which I loved because he took all the stress of parking. I can’t wait to see what he captured.
I really enjoy working at Clevedon Hall because every time I return they’ve improved some area of the venue. It’s one of the reasons it’s on my ‘best wedding venues in Bristol list‘ – even though it’s technically not in Bristol! The ‘getting ready rooms’ are beautiful spaces and make for a lovely background for the photos. The grounds are just lovely and you’d have no idea you were right in the middle of a town – it feels very secluded. As a Bristol wedding photographer it’s right on my list of local favourite venues.
Joshua and Alex were great fun to work with, and so were all their friends and family. I’m sometimes not sure it’s right that I have so much fun doing my job!
I think my favourite part of the day was getting ready. It’s not often I say that but all of their friends were so excited for them. I love the build up to the ceremony, the anticipation and the energy levels were high.
Very nice shots
