Folly Farm Wedding Photography

Hello and welcome to a new year with my first post as a Folly Farm wedding photographer! Apologies for the lack of blog updates through January. Whilst I contemplated writing a few in preparation, the reality was that a few last minute weddings, Christmas and holiday plans took over. I had to abandon the blog whilst I took a few weeks out to travel America with my lovely wife. Turns out you don’t see all that much of America in 25 days but driving through California was a pretty special time for us.

We got back on Saturday to Bristol and I’m kickstarting this year with Sarah and Tom’s wedding at Folly Farm. Sometimes in the UK you’re never 100% sure what to expect from the weather, especially in winter. But when the sun comes out to play it sure does make everything look beautiful for the photos. And to have lovely yellow leaves on the trees in winter – blessed.

I have been to this beautiful little wedding venue to do wedding photography a few times now. Every time I go I’m lucky enough to find good new spots for couple photos. Every wedding is different here and it seems easy to put your own visual mark on your day. For Sarah and Tom the trees in the wedding ceremony room looked amazing in the photos.

A little shout out to The Mews, who I hear were pretty incredible in helping Sarah find the dress. It was a great pleasure to once again see Nina Norman work her Make Up magic and last but not least… Chew Moos for providing delicious ice cream and Chew Cupcakes for the caky wonder.

And a huge thank you to Sarah and Tom for having me along. I won’t say too much about their day, hopefully the photos will do a much better job, but it was a genuine pleasure to meet such lovely people and I wish you both a lifetime of happiness together. Hopefully these photographs will serve as a reminder of your marriage and how you felt on your wedding day :)
