Lulworth Castle beach wedding photos

Annelise and Alex came all the way from Australia so it was only fitting that we headed down to the beach for photos on their wedding. I’ve done many a wedding at Lulworth Castle and it has always been a dream to head down to the cove to take some couple photos. The reason why this doesn’t often happen is that there often isn’t enough time in the day. It’s a huge cliche but the wedding day just does go to fast! However, during the summer the days are longer and so we finally made it happen. After the first dance we headed off for around 45 minutes and took some of my favourite photos this year.

It was great to work with videographer Chris James once again, who I first met at this Elmhay Park wedding. He’s a great laugh and so easy to get on with. Lulworth caslte is possibly in my top three favourite wedding venues. It’s just so unique, it looks amazing in photos, it’s near the sea, there’s plenty of outdoor space and the staff are always just lovely. I also had the pleasure of staying until midnight and took some photos of the fireworks (which is another bonus of getting married at Lulworth Castle.)

It was an absolute pleasure to photograph Annelise and Alex’s wedding, I knew it would be good but it exceeded all of my expectations and heading done to the beach for couple photos was the icing on the cake. Huge thanks to them for having me and for suggesting it – I had such a great day and I’ve really fond memories of it all.
