Lulworth Castle Winter Wedding
So here’s a few winter wedding photos from Lulworth Castle, which was my last wedding of year!
All of the wedding party got ready nearby at the beautiful Lindens house. That meant I could get a few shots of them in the build up to the main event. This is often my favourite part of the day as the excitement (and nerves) build.
Laura and Alex got married at the beautiful little church at Lulworth Castle. It was an absolutely lovely ceremony and the church capacity was maxed out. The church was really cosy, which felt really nice as a winter wedding. We then headed over to Lulworth Castle to crush the group photos and enjoy drinks, canapés and make merry.
Because of the cold time of year we did a few group shots inside (because it was frosticles!) but we also ventured outside for some couple shots. It was a bright day and just about warm enough for a stroll without anyone turning blue!
They were a super fun crowd evidenced by someone bringing a water pistol that fired tequila shots (yes I did) and a 12 days of Christmas competition to win a bottle of Limoncello (that lasted about 35 minutes. The Limoncello, not the singing!)
It was an amazing way to end the year. It’s one of my favourite venues to take wedding photos because it’s such a unique venue. I’ve not been to another venue like it. A massive thank you to Laura and Alex for having me along, it was an absolute pleasure to be there and it left the year on a real high.
