Manor by the Lake Wedding

Another highlight of the summer was Faye & Caicy’s Manor By The Lake wedding near Cheltenham. I’ve been to this venue before and it was great to return again because it’s one of my favourites in the area. I just love the walkway up to the house and the lake and grounds. It really lends itself well to wedding photography.

I got to work with one of my favourite Bristol florists Bijoux Floral once again. She made a stunning flower arch in the ceremony room. It looked amazing with all the beautiful light from the large windows.

I think my favourite time of the day was when Faye’s little brother saw her for the first time. It was quite emotional (I hope he won’t mind me saying!) and I love capturing these little connections between people.

Faye and Caicy wanted a really relaxed wedding and the team at Manor by the Lake supplied ample cocktails. Faye and Caicy were both absolutely lovely and like all good romances they met on an app. They also sent me a little unexpected gift after the wedding of rum which was totally unexpected and hugely appreciated. How nice are my couples?! I think I have the best job.
