Natural wedding photos at Kingscote Barn

Victoria and Charlie’s wedding at Kingscote Barn was ‘the’ bomb.

Kingscote Barn was one of the few barn wedding venues in Gloucestershire that I’d not had the pleasure of photographing, so I was really excited to see it in all it’s glory. And it was glorious. Set in the most beautiful Cotswolds surroundings (which hopefully explains my over exuberance of taking so many landscape shots!) It was one of those showery August days which luckily left little imprint on the wedding plans with all the showers falling when people were due to be inside. Phew! But the light, and clouds were nothing short of dramatic.

Victoria (being a photographer herself) had gone to huge styling efforts and it was great to see that her family pitched in too. They had the most beautiful wedding cake made by Victoria’s Mum and her Grandma did the floral arrangements, wihch looked nothing less than professional. In fact I always say that weddings are all about the people and never has it been more true. It was so easy to get caught up in all the emotion, anticipation and fun and this manifests itself in the photos.

The Wedding Smashers were the evenings entertainment. I’d heard a lot about them from others in the wedding world so I was excited to hear exactly how good they were. The photos say it all.
