Kate & Alex | The Mount Without | Wedding
Spring wedding at mount without in Bristol
It was great to return to my favourite wedding venue in Bristol, The Mount Without for a spring wedding. As a photographer I can’t get enough of this venue since I visited it last year. From the huge space inside, to the roof view and the urban surrounding streets. If you want a wedding in Bristol then I can’t think of anywhere better.
They booked me for a first look outside The Hotel Du Vin and then we walked up to the Mount Without and took a few couple photos along the way.
Kate wore a black dress and Alex wore a kilt. What did I enjoy most? Selfishly I was excited to get up that tower and take a few couple photos on the very top of The Mount Without. The sun was a little harsh for spring time but the views more than made up for it. A huge thanks to Kate and Alex (well mostly Kate!) for making it up all those stairs.
After drinks everyone got involved in the Cèilidh and then went downstairs for some delicious good and nice pizza.
Another highlight was to work with fellow Bristol small wedding business person – The Urban Celebrant. Increasingly I am working with celebrates and they are such good news. I think one of the great things about a weddings these days is that you can really make the celebration your own. Not everyone wants a long wedding ceremony and there are many that are over in 15 minutes! But if a longer ceremony is important to you then definitely look in to having a celebrant. It’s a massive cliche but the wedding day does fly by so a 15-20 minute ceremony is over pretty quickly.
