Summer wedding at Kingscote Barn

Being Dan and Alice’s Kingscote Barn wedding photographer was made a whole lot easier by the fact that Dan is also a wedding photographer. He is also one of the nicest and smiliest grooms I’ve met and this was bought up during the speeches a few times and it certainly resonated! It was great to see him enjoy the day and take a break from taking photos. That said pretty much all their guest asked whether I was feeling the pressure. Thanks everyone!

It was also my first outdoor ceremony at Kingscote Barn. On possibly the hottest day of the year so far too. Alice played it cool by wearing a beautiful (light) summer wedding dress from All about Eve Bridal. She had so many bridesmaids that it was tough to keep track of all their names. I was amazed when they said they had some evening guests arriving later. Literally half of Thornbury turned up and tripled their wedding numbers!

I’ve done quite a bit of Kingscote Barn wedding photography before and it was great to return to this venue. Whenever I go I cannot help but take too many photos of that the view below. It really is one of my favourites.

Sorori Design did an incredible job (as always) with all of the florals and Lauren Grey the wedding stylist and Mulberry Events did a great job beautifying the barn.

I’ve seen a lot of wedding cakes now – but Anna from Cake Couture pulled out all of the stops to deliver the work of art below. I can confirm that it tasted bloody amazing.

The wedding Players played the night away. The day ended with sparklers in the evening that finished the night off perfectly.
