Aneeka & Parthiv | Temple Island

Temple Island wedding photography

Taking wedding photos at Temple Island was an absolute adventure. What a fun wedding venue it is and I hadn’t realised it existed before Aneeka & Parthiv got in touch.

Needless to say it was a ton of fun. They chose Temple Island because they wanted a destination wedding but with all of their friends and family. The island vibe made it  like a destination wedding as well as the hour ride on the ‘party boat.’

It was great to work with Ben Walton again! Such a talented and nice guy as well as KBH events! Who I worked with a month ago at Katie and Tim’s Kingston Bagpuize House wedding.

The other nice thing about Temple Island wedding photography is the outdoor ceremony. I love outdoor wedding ceremonies and I can’t wait for these to be legalised in the UK as they are in many other countries.

Because the ceremony was outdoor loads of boats pasted as by, they waved, cheered and hooted their horns!

When Aneeka & Parthiv got in touch they talked about the possibility of getting some drone images. I recently bought a drone for fun and it was defiantly a venue that benefited from some aerial photographs. A drone for wedding photography is something I’ve secretly wanted for a long time and the new one I have is surprisingly quiet and unobtrusive. It’s a nice little addition for the occasional shot when required and a nice excuse to buy a new toy!

Speeches were amazing but I think my favourite moment of the day was when Parthiv’s 10 yr old nephew told jokes before the ceremony to everyone while we were waiting for Aneeka to arrive.
