The Forge Wedding Bristol

There’s something really magic about The Forge wedding venue in Bristol. No sprawling countryside or sweeping landscapes — just real people, incredible energy, and one of the coolest little venues tucked away in the heart of Bristol.

T+Jchose The Forge to say their vows — a small, beautifully designed space with buckets of character. It’s got that stripped-back, raw charm… exposed brick, warm light. It’s the kind of place where everything just clicks.

Before the guests arrived we snuck off for a quick little shoot. Nothing staged or stiff, just the two of them. The calm before the chaos. I love when couples take that little bit of time for themselves. It doesn’t have to be long, but it adds so much and meant that they could enjoy the day (and not worry about the British weather!)
Now, let’s talk about the alley.

The Forge doesn’t have a big garden or rolling lawns. In fact, it backs onto a quiet alley. But here’s the thing — if you’re the kind of person (like me) who believes that it’s who you’re with, not where you are, then that alley might as well be the Amalfi Coast. Because this crew brought it. So much joy. So much heart. From the first hugs to the last dance, it was on.

T+J actually live in Canada, and a bunch of their mates made the trip over. If they were jet lagged then they didn’t show it!

The Forge might be compact, but it’s mighty. It’s now firmly on my list of Best Bristol wedding venues, and I genuinely cannot wait to be back there later this year.
