Hi, I’m Albert. a somerset wedding photographer.

UPBEAT, UNPOSED
and just HOW IT HAPPENED

I’ve one simple aim:

Whilst I travel all over the world I photograph many many weddings in Somerset. Below is a little slideshow of my favourite photographs from around the country.

I’m a wedding photographer based in somerset. But I regularly travel all over the UK and abroad for destination wedding photography.

As a Somerset photographer I’m lucky enough to visit many different wedding venues.

From huge country mansions to open fields I get to photograph weddings in all sorts of places. They all have a different feel and below are a few of my favourite wedding venues in Somerset.
Cat and Matt’s North Cadbury Court wedding is a must see.

I also go to many Brympton House weddings – this gallery is Charlotte & Youssef’s wedding.

This Babington House wedding is on my list of absolute favourite somerset weddings. All the stars aligned on Jo and Nick’s wedding day and this wedding is an absolute bomb!

Every year I get to go to a few Coombe Lodge weddings.

My Highlights

I have an unobtrusive approach and capture the magic of the day as it unfolds. It’s often nice to grab a few couple photos at sunset where we can sneak away for 20 minutes. It’s often a nice time where you can both spend a little time together away from the celebrations.

One of the great things about being a wedding photographer in Somerset is the variety of amazing wedding venues. From places like Babington House and Coombe Lodge to a marquee in a field. It’s hard not to get inspired and having an amazing backdrop makes my life as a photographer a little easier too!

“He listened to all of our visions and exceeded each one.”

YUP, THAT’S ME

My approach

Being invited to photograph a wedding day is a privilege every single time. It’s my job to help you feel like you could relive it just by looking at your photos, whether it’s days, months, or years after the day itself. I tell the story of your wedding day by taking authentic, joyful and happy photos that capture exactly how it was.

Alongside the iconic bits such as signing the register or walking down the aisle, I also capture those little moments behind the scenes that make the day what it is. An impromptu game of football during the canapés. When a little one sneaks a sip of Champagne. The organic things that happen when people gather together to celebrate their best friends.

Not only will you maybe not notice these moments on the day; you probably won’t notice that I’m capturing them either. That’s because I get to the heart of the action without muscling in: taking photos in an unobtrusive way, so that the frame is true to life.

I’m more like a (very well-behaved) guest who happens to know their way around a camera. I’ll never be bossy, or tell you and your guests where to stand and what to do. Promise.

At this point I’m looking for beautiful light, you being you and enjoying the moment. My ‘job’ is a complete honour and the people I meet always inspire my work.
