You’ve seen the pictures. You’ve got the gist.

and if you’re here I hope that means you liked what you saw. So, let’s get down to business: how do I work (other than with a vat of coffee, at all times?)

I take on a limited number of weddings each year to make sure every couple gets my full creativity and energy—no two weddings are ever the same! My pricing is clear and upfront, with everything listed below. If my style resonates with you, just fill out the form, and I’ll be in touch with my availability.

The Elevator Pitch

Photos that not only look like you, but feel like you. A gallery that captures not only the details of the day, but what it was all for.

No awkward posing, lots of real feels. No cheese (unless it’s of the edible kind.)

WHAT MY COUPLES SAY

Questions?

I’m based in Bristol but travel all over the UK, and even abroad.

Yes! Even with a natural, relaxed style of photography, I understand most people want a few for posterity. I recommend keeping the number to around 10: as each one takes 2-3 minutes. Having an usher (or two) help gather people really speeds this up.

To secure the date I need a signed contract and a non-refundable deposit of £400. As soon as I receive these 2 things, the date goes in the calendar (which makes us official!)

Absolutely! In fact, I highly recommend it. There’s just a certain magic with printed photos.

Yes, we’ll design the album together and it won’t be printed until you’re 100% happy with the design.

They are Big, with a capital B. You can easily make 50 inch prints (and whilst I’m not saying they make a good alternative to a big TV… I’m not not saying that, either.)

Yes, you can download all the photos for free (as can anyone who you share the gallery with.) Whilst you can order prints from the gallery you’re free to print them anywhere you please.

Whilst this has never happened, I do have a plan in place. I should state that I would have to be seriously unwell not to attend; if I broke a leg, I would still try to come in a wheelchair! But, failing that, I am part of a large collective of photographers with close to a hundred members. I would arrange for another professional with a similar style to my own to work on my behalf. If you found your own arrangements then you would of course be entitled to a full refund.

Er, no. Not exactly. I own the copyright but you’re free to share them, print, make albums, hang them on your wall – they are your wedding photos! But, you can’t enter them into competitions or sell them.

On average I deliver a minimum of 50 photos per hour. So, for 10hrs you would receive a minimum of 500 photos. If it was a large wedding with lots of things happening then it could easily increase to 70 or 80 photos per hour.

For all day coverage I start whenever you need me and tend to finish an hour after the first dance. Or by 10pm. There’s also an option for me to stay until midnight.

Absolutely. I back up the photos on my laptop during the meal – and again before I head home. It takes minutes. When I get home the images are backed up to the cloud.

You don’t need to feed me, I am capable of bringing my own food! But, if you want to be really generous a hot meal does go a long way and is massively appreciated.

Yes, public liability and professional indemnity. Also the drone is covered.

Whilst this has never happened I work with two cameras and keep a third in my spare bag.

Although I try to deliver previews the next day (or two) the longest you’d ever wait for the full gallery is 4 weeks.
