Emily & Dickon | Pre Wedding Shoot | Dorset

It was really nice to drive down to see Emily and Dickon in Dorset before their wedding. Not only did I enjoy a great sunny drive through the countryside, I got to photograph them at Emily’s home. During the engagement shoot we explored the garden which is where the wedding reception will be. I find that gardens generally make for excellent venues as they naturally have a relaxed feel. Especially for summer weddings!

Emily and Dickon were so sweet. Like a lot of the couples I meet they said they didn’t really like having their photographs taken (who does, right?) But as soon as I got out the camera they were like models. Seriously. Lots of interaction, laughing and generally being fun to photograph. The best.

Being blessed with great weather on the shoot made my job even easier.
