Spring Wedding Merriscourt

It was great to return to Merriscourt for a spring wedding. For the time of year we had some wondrous weather and it was great to get outside. Everyone enjoyed the grounds of Merriscourt which is a lovely Cotswold wedding venue with lovely gardens. Dani and Chris’s wedding was postponed and so they had already done the legal paperwork. The resulting good news was that a relative (with the most amazing voice and charisma) stood in! So it was a really personal wedding ceremony inside Merriscourt and they were able to pack lots of personal touches. The light in the ceremony room is simply stunning. Dani had quite a few family and friends coming from the USA so you can imagine they were all up for some fun throughout the day and also on the dance floor.

Shoutouts to hair & makeup artist Natalie-Danielle and flowers from Wild Lily Flowers. Their Cake was from cotswold rustic cake. I think my favourite moment of the day was just being outside in the warm sun. I know I’ve already touched on this but after a pretty cold and cloudy winter one perk of the job I love it to get outside. Capturing everyone milling around helping themselves to canapés and drinks and enjoying lawn games and cocktails is what all good weddings are about.

A massive thank you to Dani and Chris for having me along. It was a huge honour to be take their spring wedding photos at Merriscourt. As is now customary on the blog here are a few random highlights, a sort of photographic mashup of the best bits. I loved going back and capturing these memories for them.
