Chagford Wedding Photography

It was great to return to Devon, more specifically Chagford to do the wedding photography for Katie and Eric. One of the most asked questions I get as a wedding photographer (from other wedding professions as well as couples) is ‘what is your favourite venue?’ And, for a really long time now my answer has been the same – a marquee in a field! And these photos prove why! I’m sure it was organisational hell. Arranging and building the marquee, the food, the decor, electricity, toilets, accommodation…. lord knows how much extra time it took – but the results speak for themselves!

Everyone had such a great time and it really shines through in the photos.

The catering was absolutely off the chart and I’m sure I’ve been to other weddings with Posh Nosh Devon. Their friend was the DJ – @lolarosedj

I think my favourite moment from the day was just how involved all the guests were. Everyone loved being there, out in the sun loving life. No one was stressed, anxious or distracted. It really was just a wonderful celebration with every present and joining in.

It was a quick trip from Bristol down to Devon and I was blown away by the beauty of Dartmoor, I can’t wait to go again (even if it doesn’t involve wedding photography!) Now – here’s the good stuff! Enjoy!
