Julianna & Matthew | Lake Como | Pre Wedding Shoot

Lake Como Pre Wedding Shoot

Lake Como Pre Wedding Shoot

My second time doing a Lake Como pre wedding shoot and it was well worth the wait. I had been impatiently waiting a LONG time to do this shoot with Julianna and Matthew. With a double speed boat journey and a road trip through the heart of Tuscany to Manarola we got some sensational pre wedding photos.

A HUGE thank you to Julianna and Matthew for having me along to take their photo. They were so relaxed to work with and walked a LONG way, climbing rocks, cliffs and peaks. They did it all with a smile – as if modelling wasn’t hard work! It was great to return to Lake Como in such amazing weather. It’s a dream destination for any photographer and the early start was more than worth it. Dodging the tourists as well as the heat we got to see sunrise over the mountains.

Returning to Cinque Terre was pretty memorable too. It hadn’t changed a bit (unsurprisingly!) and I ordered the same pasta from the same place I did last year.

I was particularly pleased to capture the image above. I’d always wanted to do a shoot in a speedboat and as I quickly found out there are only so many perspectives! Well – I thought outside the box (or boat) as far as I could and whilst I got my camera soaked I came away with one of my best images (ever!)

My camera survived by the way – check out the review of the Sony A9 here.

Anyway – enough talk and on with the photos! If you’d like to see more of my work  you can see my pre wedding shoot portfolio here. If you’d like to see other pre wedding shoots in Italy then check out, Venice, Florence and Milan.
