Spring Wedding Coombe Lodge

Firstly, Coombe Lodge is one of my favourite local wedding venues in Bristol. I visit a few times each year and have a blast. Sarah and Jonathan’s spring wedding was a beautiful day and it was great to spend so much of it outside enjoying the grounds and see everyone enjoying the weather and celebrating. 

Sarah and Jonathan had to postpone several times but they finally got the deed done and married outside at Coombe Lodge. I am partial to an outdoor ceremony because it means better light, better angles and more moments. 

We timed sunset perfectly for some insane couple photos. It was great to work with the videographer Jamie Rhodes who is another local Bristol wedding vendor! I hope to work with him again soon at some point because he was a great partner in crime. 

The dance floor was absolutely bouncing and knowing the party photos were important I stayed a little later. When the bride and groom take the lead on the dance floor everyone follows them and so there were plenty of great moments. 

The speeches were great but I think my favourite part of the day was the couple photos. These don’t need to take long but it was great to catch a few golden rays at the end of the day and enjoy the amazing views. Also – you can’t beat a good sparkler photo and it’s a great way to finish off the day.

Like, total game face on keeping everyone else calm. It was if she was getting ready for a night out rather than the biggest day of her life to date! A massive thank you to them both for having me along.
