Wedding cupcakes – product photography Bristol

I know, another late blog post… I missed my Monday deadline. I thought I was going to be short of material to post at this time of year but in fact I’ve been so busy I haven’t had a chance to even blog about it! So much for creating those new sample albums I was planning over the winter!

Anyway – this one is a bit of a sweet surprise (sorry!) – I was hired to do a product shoot for a new business in Bristol. It is a new cup cake company called House of Cupcakes. They bake cupcakes to order – so birthdays, weddings – all those happy times. I don’t have a whole lot of experience with product photography so it was great to really get stuck in to something a bit different and learn along the way.
My experience thus far with product photography has been photographing items for eBay! So whilst I had a bit to learn I had a pretty decent grasp on the importance of lighting, composition and colour. Anyway – enough photography stuff – the proof is in the pudding! (Sorry!)

  • Going Social

I really ought to be writing about something a lot more interesting considering the great weddings and engagement shoots I’ve had recently.
