Church Wedding at North Cadbury Court
Church Wedding at North Cadbury Court
I always love working at North Cadbury Court and this time it was for R&K. It’s one of my favourite wedding venues in Somerset for wedding photography, possibly even the UK and for good reason! The surrounding countryside is gorgeous and the house has so much character. In the wedding photography trade it’s known as a ‘stunner!’ It’s really well maintained and just has a nice homely feel to it.
I’d not met R&K before the wedding, but they were such a nice couple – very easy going and excited to get married. They both had big wedding parties of bridesmaids and ushers so it was much fun in the morning getting ready. The energy level was high all day!
The sun shone brightly at North Cadbury Court and it was one of those rare wedding days where everything went to plan. They got married in the nearby church. I’ve met the vicar quite a few times and he’s so easy going – making every wedding ceremony personal. After the vows, rings and kiss we headed back to the gardens for canapés, drinks and merriment.
I think my highlight of the day happened after the speeches – the hand-fasting ceremony. The groom’s brothers put together a really personal ceremony and I just love the photos. The band then played the night away!
A huge thank you to everyone for having me there. They could not have been more welcoming and hospitable. I hope these photos bring back all the feels for years and years to come.
