Kin House Wedding

This summer I had the joy of photographing my first ever Kin House wedding – and what a way to be introduced to this incredible Cotswolds venue. If you’re looking for a setting that’s both stylish and relaxed, Kin House ticks all the boxes. It’s a Georgian beauty with gorgeous interiors and sprawling grounds. But with the kind of atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. You can check out more of my favourite venues nearby on my Cotswold wedding venues page

A day full of sunshine and style
The couple couldn’t have timed it better – the forecast for the following day was wall-to-wall rain. But on this day the sun showed up in full force. That meant we could spend most of the time outdoors making the most of the gardens, terraces, and golden evening light.

Their outfits were incredible – modern, stylish, and perfect for Kin House’s mix of historic charm and contemporary design. It all came together to create a shoot that felt effortlessly elegant while still being full of fun and personality.

Cocktail hour and golden-hour photos
One of my favourite parts of the day was cocktail hour on the lawn – the drinks were flowing, music playing, and everyone just soaking up that sunshine. It was the perfect backdrop for candid, documentary-style shots of guests laughing, and celebrating together.

Most of the shoot was about portraits in the grounds and maximising the sun. They’d told me they really wanted some sunny portraits, and we couldn’t have asked for better light. Those moments, just the two of them together, were magic – relaxed, happy, and completely in the moment.

Inside and out
Kin House is stunning inside, with elegant rooms and beautifully curated spaces. They are perfect for winter or rainy-day weddings. But because we had such amazing weather, almost all of the photographs happened outside. That gave the whole gallery this fresh, light-filled, celebratory feel.

If you’re planning a Kin House wedding, or anywhere in the Cotswolds, I’d love to chat about capturing your day.
