wedding ceremony in Sudeley Castle church

Sudeley Castle wedding

It was great to return to Sudeley Castle wedding venue in Gloucestershire for Katie and Adam’s wedding. It’s such a lovely venue and in particular I love the little on-site church that you can get married in. It has so much charm and character plus the light in there is beautiful. I’ve so much love for those black and white floor tiles, call me crazy but they go hand in hand with a black tie theme.

During the ceremony celebrant @juliahawkescelebrant talked all about how Katie and Adam met. Humanist weddings are becoming more and more popular and it’s easy to see why. They are so much more personal to the couple and fun for the guests.

Then after the ceremony everyone headed outside  enjoy the sun and gardens at Sudeley Castle. They were full of colour and all the flowers were out on display. It made for a great backdrop for group photos and couple photos and goes hand in hand with my colourful style.

Although it was a very relaxed day everyone looked amazing. Specifically the guys in black tie from dapper in Dorking @dapper_dorking. The food was delicious, particularly the evening pizza and the band, who were absolutely brilliant Band/DJ | Apollo Soul SIX @apollosoulband kept everyone on the dance floor. I think my favourite part of the day was the speeches. In particular Katie’s aunts did a speech that really hit at the heart strings. And Adam’s best men dropped a few bombs too, they were laugh out loud funny!

It was a huge privilege to be there and I loved being part of the day. I hope all these photos being back the day for many many years to come!
