Rachael & Freddie | Tunnels Beaches | Wedding

Summer Wedding Tunnels Beaches

I always get excited by a Summer wedding at Tunnels Beaches because it’s like being on holiday! Firstly, I’ve been lucky enough to return twice this year for some great beach weddings. First up is Rachael and Freddie who bought the party to the sleepy seaside town. A super fun bunch of friends who travelled from Essex/Kent to North Devon.

I loved their style – my wife called it a New England look and I think she’s right! The venue feels like a destination wedding venue. It’s a place to take all of your mates that has incredible sea views. You can go paddling, explore, have a beach BBQ and a bit of a party. As well as an ice cream or two!

As a wedding photographer it’s a complete scene and the opportunity to capture some magic on the beach isn’t something you get everyday. If you get married at Tunnels Beaches then I expect couple photos on the beach are probably a big part of the reason you booked it.

As always the lovely staff were so accommodating and the food was amazing. I did eat two, possibly three ice creams. It’s a bit naughty but you can’t turn down the few perks of being self employed!

The Dance Floor

From the first dance onwards the dance floor was bouncing! Rachael and Freddie took the lead and everyone danced around them.

Big shout out to their friend the videographer who was a hoot to work alongside. Full of fun and energy. It’s always nice to have a partner in crime especially when they’re this much fun.

I think my favourite moment of the day was their magician. A super nice guy who completely astounded me. I genuinely don’t know how he did the tricks because I watched him like a hawk. I had a magician at my own wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made. Also the photographer can capture everyone’s funny reactions as they have their minds blown at being tricked.

Finally, enough chat, on with the photos and if you’d like to see more Tunnels Beaches wedding photography please check the link.
