Festival Themed Wedding

Ever wanted to see a festival themed wedding? Welcome to Dawsonbury everyone – Mae and Alex’s festival wedding in Eckington, Worcestershire.

It’s been a while since I’ve been to Worcestershire for a wedding and I think this was the second time ever (from memory!) A beautiful rural county with amazing views.

I was lucky enough to work with Darren Jack films once again. I normally try to recall one or two of my favourite things about each wedding but there are so many from Mae and Alex’s. Like the stilt walkers, their boat ride after the ceremony to the reception, the fire breathers. The sheer amount of work and effort that went in to dreaming this up and then creating it blows my mind! It paid off 100% and then some.

We timed the couple photos at sunset perfectly (not always easy to do!) I loved the Dawsonbury sign and the fact that they turned their wedding in to a 2-3 day festival shows how much they were up for the party and how committed they are!

As festival themed weddings go this surely has to be up at the top! The hot weather made it a really happy event although something tells me we would all have had a blast in the rain too.

I’m going to list all of the other amazing suppliers below. It was truly a highly of my 2022 and a massive thank you for having me along. As Mae currently (?) also attends weddings it was a true privilege to be there. I’m sure she’s seen plenty of other wedding photographers so I genuinely felt honoured to capture their day.

If you’d like to see more of my Cotswolds wedding photography then you know what to do.

Now, enough waffle and on with a few of my favourite photos from the day. Enjoy!
