Azul Beach Wedding Photographer

I was Victoria and Dan’s Azul Beach Wedding Photographer in Mexico. A beautiful hotel resort in Cancún. A country I’d not been to before but an amazing way to finish the wedding season of 2016. When I received their email and read their plans I kept my fingers crossed but tried not to get excited. Being a wedding photographer in Mexico is certainly one I can now cross off of my bucket list. The Azul Beach Hotel was an incredible venue.

Victoria and Dan were a really fun couple. My favourite moment of the wedding day was photographing their wedding favours. I have never written this sentence before! But when everyone opened a small present and put on their very own Mexican wrestling mask the expressions were priceless.

Victoria looked beautiful in her wedding gown from La Belle Boutique (Mansfield) and even wore some pretty high heals down to the ceremony on the beach. Hats off to Dan for wearing a blazer during the ceremony. I try not to think about how hot it was to work in – my mind has made a mental block!

As predicted, the tequila came out during the speeches and from there on in the party got pretty crazy. Being an Azul Beach wedding photographer was an incredible way to finish off the year and I am so thankful to Victoria and Dan for inviting me along to capture their day.

You’ll also see a blog post shortly where we did a day after shoot in the sea! Taking a £4K camera in to the Caribbean in nothing more than a glorified plastic bag was a little nerve racking.
