Nicola & Andy | Borgo Bastia Creti | Umbria

Umbria Wedding Photography

Doing Umbria wedding photography at Nicola and Andy’s wedding was SO much fun. First of all it was great to return to do Borgo Bastia Creti wedding photography for a second wedding at this Umbrian wedding venue. Going there for the second time meant that it was a little less stressful. It looked just as beautiful as it always does and photographing their wedding was a dream (apart from the hot hot weather!)

My top three moments of the day start off with Nicola and Andy exiting to the the rice confetti. An Italian wedding tradition and one of my favourites! Lots of fun, great to photograph but if you stand in the wrong place it’s a little bit painful (I like to be kept on my toes!) Their guests didn’t hold back and the rice went everywhere.

My second favourite moment… not gonna lie, the food was incredible and I was really well looked after by Nicola and Andy and the staff at Umbrian wedding venue. Honestly, it’s not the only reason I love destination wedding photography but it is a perk! You may spot a few photos of the culinary goodness…

Number three has to be the wedding ceremony. I’ve photographed almost 300 weddings now and I love a good ceremony. Nicola and Andy went to town personalising their ceremony with readings as well as one of their guests singing. The cherry on the top of my Umbria wedding photography was the amazing interior of the church at Montone. I really haven’t photographed anything quite like it and I can see why they chose it.

Thank you!

A huge thank you to Nicola and Andy for having me along. It was a privilege for me to photograph your wedding day and I hope these images bring it all back for years to come.

Tortworth Court Wedding Photography I’ve photographed a few Tortworth Court weddings, but Jade and Scott’s was particularly sparkly. They had gone to town on sequins, lights, snow foam.
