Sophie & Adam | Lulworth Castle | Wedding

Lulworth Castle Wedding Photographer
Sophie and Adam’s wedding was my second time as a Lulworth Castle wedding photographer. First of all Lulworth Castle wedding venue has quickly become one of my favourite places to photograph this year. I had the chance to photograph a ceremony in the church earlier in the year and it was charming but Sophie and Adam’s wedding ceremony was held in the castle itself up on the stage. In addition, with chandeliers and a high ceiling it really must be one of the best wedding venues in the UK.
If Adam was nervous he wasn’t showing it! I don’t know if it was the suave tux or whether he really was felling so ice cool. I also hung out with Sophie and the B-maids in the morning. They listened to a Spotify RNB mix album. The party spirit continued through the rest of the day. Sophie wore a Suzanne Neville wedding gown. It was pretty glam and not everyone could get away with it but she rocked the look. Her Manolo Blahnik shoes finished off the look. Big shoutout to Severin Hubert from Hepburn Collection and Emily Jean the make up artist.
The Wedding Day
You may remember Sophie and Adam from their engagement shoot at Durdle Door. The weather on the wedding day wasn’t quite as sunny but it was a lot less windy! It was one of those days where you had unpredictable showers. Happily the inside of the Lulworth Castle wedding venue lends itself pretty well to family photos, helped somewhat but Elle from Inspire Hire the stylist and the blooms from Jennifer Poynter Flowers.
Fortunately after the speeches we headed out in to the sunshine for a few couple photos. Getting a few relaxed couple portraits is fun but you can never be confident what the weather will do by the sea! Then we headed back inside for special cocktails and dancing.
Here are a few of my favourite photos from the day.
